In pain or dealing with a broken tooth? Call us right away.
Dental pain and sudden dental problems can be stressful. If you are experiencing discomfort, swelling, or a broken tooth, please call our office so we can help you as quickly as possible.
Our team will guide you and make every effort to prioritize patients who are in pain.
Dental vs. Medical Emergencies.
Find the right kind of care.
Seek medical attention if you experience:
● Difficulty breathing or swallowing● Severe facial swelling● Uncontrolled bleeding● Facial trauma or jaw injury● High fever with dental swelling
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
We are here for you.
To better care for patients in pain, we reserve time at the end of each day for urgent dental visits. Call us, and we will do our best to see you the same day whenever possible.
After-hours Call (Current Patients)
Current patients of Dental Haven can call the office after hours and follow the prompts to reach Dr. Matos for urgent dental concerns. If your concern relates to treatment previously completed at our office, we may be able to guide you over the phone.
New patients
If you are a new patient experiencing dental pain, please call us. We will do our best to guide you and schedule the soonest available evaluation. Because dental problems require an examination to diagnose properly, most issues cannot be safely diagnosed over the phone.
After-hours emergencies
In certain situations, emergency care may be provided when the office is normally closed, including evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on doctor availability. Please note that after-hours visits may involve additional fees that are typically not reimbursed by insurance.
